Behind the Synth: John Chowning Conversation
Blake interviews the discoverer of the FM Algorithm, composer and professor emeritus Dr. John Chowning.
It was a distinct honor to chat with Dr. John Chowning at Knobcon 2019
, where he was the featured guest. In this episode of Behind the Synth, Dr. Chowning talks about his upbringing, college education, studies in Paris with the legendary Nadia Boulanger
and more. It was a fascinating conversation. (Note: This was recorded in a very large hotel lobby with a lot of ambient noise. Apologies for the sound quality.)
